The Elevator Game with Catgirls is the horror visual novel with point-and-click elements based on the original Korean urban legend called Elevator to Another World. And yes, as the name suggests, there are catgirls—because why not? Given its mysterious atmosphere, turn-based decisions, and more than 500 different backgrounds, players will have a chance to have 15 minutes of fun and get eleven primary and four secondary endings. Oh and did we mention? It even has full English voice-overs too.
Kirin is a high school student. Who challenge herself to play the Elevator Game after losing her bet to her classmate. She chooses a sinister house and is prepared to abide by the rituals and her paramour Asahi reluctantly stays outside. However, things turn into an evil twist when Kirin fails to return home—no, not the previous night, nor the following night. Feeling guilty and eager to do her utmost to find Hina, Asahi attempts the ritual herself in order to go to the other side. What could possibly go wrong.
It is a game that features decision-making moments as Asahi looks for her lost girlfriend or gets lost in this creepy world. It’s full of surprises where new facts appear with every turn, decisions are to be made within certain timeframes, and the overall picture is quite mysterious. Just a heads-up: the game is not without its disturbing aspects, so use caution… and turn on some lights.
