Granny Escape Together puts players in a chilling situation: Only that, instead of partiying, they are trapped in a creepy house with limited time to get out. The title is aimed at 1-3 players at a time in a Co-op mode where every player is expected to be part of a team. It is frustrating and depressing and it’s not even just Granny that you have to fear – there is something far worse in the basement you have to deal with. You get five days to reveal what is hidden in the house and escape but the days are not yours.

Puzzles are stop and stop in front of a player in a dark room, where lights do not penetrate. When it comes to escaping from the house, keys and solving problems help – that’s it, the house has something for you. Every time you step on a squeaking floor, every time you see a single shift of a shadow you can be sure that Granny is right behind you. Stealth is key: she will run towards you provided that there is lots of noise and commotion. Lacking a solid shelter, children try to hide under the beds, in the closets, behind the furniture – and these are only moments of temporary escape.

Granny: Escape Together has several opportunities to escape and each one presents the possibility of getting stuck. Whether it’s a car in the garage that needs to be repaired or lock on the front door, or even unlock a hidden door behind the basement, it has strategies to make. The co-op aspect helps force players to delegate, cooperate and strategize, but at the same time, they must be careful; one mistake could help Granny turn the tables. In the PvP mode, one of the players is locked in as the games’ protagonist Granny, and the rest are doing their best to get out of the house.
