He or she is a Revenant, an undead fighter with vampiric powers, brought back to repel monstrous terrrors. The undead warriors have hearts turned into crazed weapons, but there’s a twist: they must drink blood in order not to lose their sanity. Miss just one dose of this daily habit, and you risk turning into a crazed Lost, spreading deadly miasma and chaos.
The story opens in the ruins of Vienna where the last Blood Beads are running out. This would, therefore, put the survival of every individual at stake. It is a match between Revenants who cling onto their humanity and the Lost spiraling into darkness and madness. Epic bosses and dark secrets of this broken world have to be overcome.
