In 30 Birds you are Zig a young and intelligent detective that must solve the mystery of the disappearance of the bird-goddess Simurgh, who has been kidnapped. Lantern City, the light that sparks your senses and the throbbing hub, has a bunch of unique characters and flying feathers.

Meet Hoop, the main character: a hoopoe comedian with great love for overacting, and guide you through this world full of glitter. We need to solve both puzzles on the island, defeat the annoying Scientist and find out the information that might help Simurgh and the city.

Controlling intricately reminiscing 2D hand-drawn avatars and operating within a tapestry of large, colorful, detailed 3D environments that are Lantern City’s neighborhoods across seven spinning, lighted lanterns. While the music is officially described as ska-dub-reggae, the visual design here is just as important – bright, joyful colors, the collectible phone numbers of 30 talkative birds, and rather weak enemies on the player’s way to the divine Simurgh.

And playing card games, singing puzzles, relaxing in cafes and hunting around for the clues, nothing seems boring in lantern city.
